Project Description
Faced with the challenge of containing Riyadh’s rapid expansion west, the client needed a creative way of reinforcing the urban limits of the city, whilst protecting the pristine natural environment.
Initially intended to be a series of parks in the wadi tributaries, site investigations soon discovered incredible geological richness, ancient artefacts, evidence of historic farming practices, and a long thought of lost species of Acacia.
The following extract are highlights of 16 months work.
